Sewing Grace​ @ NBC 10 - 12 Tuesdays

Sewing Grace is a caring ministry at NBCS. Following the example of Tabitha in the New Testament (Acts chapter 9), who used her skills and gifting with needle and thread to care and provide for the most vulnerable in society, we aim to use our sewing skills to bless and encourage each other and others in need. We have a range of abilities and are open to learning new skills and will be using these skills to make gifts as well as banners amongst other things for the church and beyond. So, if you have no skill, some skill or a lot of skill in this area you would be very welcome! We meet every Tuesday at NBCS from 10am-12.30pm.

Esther Women's Fellowship every 2nd and 4th Wednesday @ NBC

​Esther Womens Fellowship is an opportunity to meet with other women from NBCS and other churches in and around Newport for fellowship, Bible teaching, testimonies and other activities including trips and coffee mornings. We meet to encourage each other in our Christian faith, support each other in prayer and deepen our friendship. We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in term time . You will receive a very warm welcome.  

Bible Fellowship 

Time for men to enjoy fellowship together. Meets the second and fourth Wednesday in the month at 10.30am at the church. Involves going out into the countryside for a walk, usually incorporating a visit to a coffee shop en route. If weather is inclement there is the option to watch a Christian DVD. Will often include a time of prayer for needs and concerns. All men welcome.   

Christian fellowship and support in the homes of people from the church. They meet weekly in the evening. A good way to get introduced and involved in the church and to get to know people. Include times of sharing; a Christian message; worship; and prayer.

Weekly prayer meeting at church conducted online over Zoom. Thursday evenings 7pm to 8pm. Praying for the needs and concerns of people in and associated with the church and for the direction of the church’s ministry.
